Hi! Thank you for your interest in Zumba classes. I'm Farah and I'm a Zumba® instructor at the East Malling Institute Hall. Every class feels like a party! I teach the original and high energy Zumba Fitness® and the more dance based modified Low Impact Zumba®, perfect for anyone who loves dancing and would like to work on their balance, posture and technique without the high impact jumps and moves.
I am sure you are familiar with Zumba. I see it as THE alchemy explosion of your colourful aura! Zumba music takes you all over the world from India to Africa to the Middle East and so on...it's a party atmosphere and you will always come out feeling uplifted, energised and buzzing for a while! Be prepared to let go and party! I teach different levels so you can dance at your own level. Don't worry about steps and routines, I want you to dance from the heart and get out of your mind - life is too short to worry about left or right!! Choose from a low to medium impact level that is suitable for you.
A Brand New class called Bellyfit launched in September. Bellyfit is the alchemy fusion dance fitness experience for women that blends the power and wisdom of ancient cultures, with the research, technology and trends of the modern world. It is designed to connect you to the deep, primal feminine within, while helping you find strength to deal with modern day stress. In the first half hour of the class, burn mega calories, relieve stress and get the sweat flowing with fun, easy to learn cardio moves infused with the ancient and beautiful fundamentals of Belly Dance, Bollywood, Bhangra, African Dance and more. During the second half of the class, enjoy sculpting, toning and tightening with Pilates inspired core work, a deep yet relaxing Yoga inspired stretch and mindful Mudra Meditation.
